Notice on the processing of personal data collected through metalsald.com and its contact and quotation forms.
Data controller

Data processed
Data entered in the forms (name, company, contact person, email, phone, content of the request and any technical attachments) and technical browsing data needed for the operation and security of the site (for example the IP address, stored in hashed form to limit repeated submissions).
Purposes and legal basis
To answer information and quotation requests and manage any pre-contractual negotiations (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR); to keep the site secure and prevent abuse (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Retention
Requests are kept for as long as needed to handle them and any subsequent business relationship. Attachments uploaded through the RFQ are kept on the server for up to 90 days; anti-abuse technical data for up to 30 days.
Recipients
Data is processed by authorised METALSALD staff and by the hosting and email provider (Aruba S.p.A.), acting as processor. Data is not disclosed publicly.
Your rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and object to processing (Arts. 15–22 GDPR) by writing to info@metalsald.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
